Everyone’s favorite Black Widow is back!

Okay, so Natasha Romanoff has been back for 9 months now, but it’s time to reflect on the adventure so far. Trust me, if you’re a widow fan, you’re not going to want to miss out on Kelly Thompson’s fun spy adventure.

We’ve followed The Black Widow on plenty of adventures over the years. We’ve seen Natasha as the hero and the villain. We’ve watched her die and be cloned. We’ve seen her impersonated. Now it’s time to see her with a …family?

Not talking about that whole family thing that the film did. If you want my opinion on that you can read it here.

I will admit, I had doubts about this run.

Thompson is a superstar in her own right. (If you don’t know Jeff the Land Shark do you even read current comics?) But was she up for the task of bringing us on a spy adventure with Natasha? The answer is a resounding YES.

But it isn’t only Thompson who shines in this run. I have not seen Natasha drawn as well as Elena Casagrande and co has done since Noto’s art. Every page is a splash of color that keeps the reader’s eye while staying true to Natasha.

This run is a pleasure to both read and look at.
