You absolutely hit the nail on the head with your points here. Sure, things are subjective and whatever else everyone wants to say. But as it's pointed out again and again we're conditioned to know what we're told is "attractive" for being law by society and media. It's a simple fact and something that has been standard for years regardless of the "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" notion.
